Adirondack Field in Autumn This was taken on my October 2006 fall workshop. We were given permission to shoot in this field and we promptly headed out towards these bails of hay. These rolled bails made for perfect foreground subjects to the wonderful colors of on the mountains behind them. I also noted and this is the subtlety of composition, that one should look at not only where you place your foreground object but how do the other subjects in the scene layout in the composition as well. In this shot, I took care in positioning my set up so the other rolled bails laid out in a manner that had a balanced flow to it. |
