Gettysburg - Big and Little Round Top

Some wicked bloody fighting took place at Big and Little Round Top (more at Little) as well as Devils Den (below Little Round Top which is on your left).  Again the terrain in which soldiers had to traverse and battle in is very tricky.  The close range fighting is too much too even fathom with today's fighting technology.  The thought of thousands of troops fighting in such close range and charging with bayonets is almost incomprehensible.

This is shot from the South's position before moving in on the North.  It's a lovely scenic and one of the few places where a Cannon or Monument wasn't placed to use as a foreground object - so instead, I cropped it to look like a panoramic.
