Paper Birch Leaf and Birch

Some shots just fall together. There are times when certain images are to good to be true - and often they are, like the perfectly placed big, clean leaf laying on the perfect rock along a streamside.  But once in a while those scenes happen and this leaf on a downed birch tree is one of them.  I did clean up the scene a little, removing small twigs, leaf schmutz, dirt and such but the scene itself lay pristine.

I metered the leaf  against the whitest part of the birch I could find and bracketed around that towards the overexposure side so I could retain some white in the bark.
