Lupine and Flower

I thought this Lupine made an interesting subject because of the little wildflower that became entangled in it.  One of the hardest things about shooting Lupines is controlling the backgrounds.  In this case, lining up the other lupine directly behind the subject worked best because other angles were too cluttered and or the lupine behind the main subject was too much of a distraction for my liking.  Focal length, f/stop and composition can only get you so far and I wasn't about destroying the flower behind just to get a shot.
