Come experience the uniqueness of the New Jersey Pine Barrens at this very special time of year.

The end of June is one of the best times to shoot in the Pine Barrens.  The summer wildflowers are at peak with Grass Pinks, Sundews, Pitcher Plants, the endangered Bog Asphodel and more.

It is also the time of year when the rare Pine Barrens Tree Frogs are in full form.

And of course there is the beautiful landscape of the bogs, creeks, swamps and lakes.

This workshop will explore all these facets of the stunning New Jersey Pine Barrens.

Pine Barrens Tree Frog

Join us as we explore this beautiful region. The Pine Barrens has such a distinct feel to it.  The looming Pitch Pines, the dark water bogs, the sounds, the sandy soils, all give it an essence that shouldn't be missed.

We will spend time working on wildflower photography, as well as the landscape form.  We will also spend time tracking down the rare Pine Barrens Tree Frog and photographing them.

This is an exciting place to make images of every form.  Between the birds, frogs, dragonflies, flowers, turtles and a host of landscape opportunities, you will have plenty of variety to choose from.

And if macro photography is a favorite, we spend a good amount of time working and learning how to improve upon our macro photography skills.

My workshops are about spending as much time out in the field as possible.  That is where you can explore, ask questions and learn.

I also give at least one lecture and slide show.  And I encourage participants to bring their work to share with the group.
