Columbine

This is beautiful early/mid spring flower.  It is always nice to photograph these but they can be a challenge because they dangle;  just the slightest breeze and they are bouncing around.  You need to shoot wide open as I did with this one using a 300mm focal length.  When working with shallow depths of field you also need tight focusing to make sure you anchor the viewer.
