Winter by the docks in Lake George II

This was taken the first weekend in February of 2010.  This was taken shortly after the Ist of this image set was taken.  Here the sun crested the mountains and began to cast some nice soft warm light onto the scene.  The sun would quickly kill the color in the sky, so shooting a number of properly exposed shots was crucial.  I altered split nd's from soft to reverse grads to make sure I was able to be relatively successful.
