Mating Water Snakes

AH Spring - The time of courtship.  I spotted these two water snakes doing the business from the opposite side of the creek you can just make out in the upper left corner of the frame.  But from that vantage point I could not get the shot I wanted.  So, I took the long way around to get back to this side and then slowly and carefully worked my closer to photograph them.  This took quite some time to get but felt it was worth it.  This was photographed occurring at the Leonard J Buck Garden in Far Hills, NJ.
