Petal Study

When it comes to flowers, there are only so many portraits I can shoot before it bores me. I'll always shoot some portrait shots, especially of a new flower but I like to explore and push the creative bounds.  One way of practicing this is by buying a bouquet of flowers.  This way you can turn the flowers around, place them in the light you want to work with as well as "me" walking around the flowers, studying and trying to look for interesting compositions.  This was one of those "looks" that looked interesting to explore.
