Otter Cliffs and Pool

Otter Cliffs is one of my favorite subjects when I visit Acadia National Park.  This was shot shortly after sunrise.  This small pool of water made for a unique foreground subject and I wanted to capitalize on it.  Using an aperture of 22, I was able to garner a significant amount of depth.  A long exposure of a few second was needed.  This is best evidenced by the lack of crashing waves, replaced by the soft look of the water around the rocks in the water.
