Purple Trillium Early May in the Adirondacks is a special time for wildflowers. Before the heavy green canopy overtakes the forests of the Adirondacks, wildflowers of varying sorts can be seen strewn about portions of forest floors. One such beautiful flower is the Purple Trillium. This is also one of the largest growing wildflowers that occur in the spring. They can be found alone or in large groupings. |
