A Scene from the Quiet Side

When most people enter Mount Desert Island, they head for Acadia National Park.  However, there is the little traveled quiet side of the island as well.  This scene was taken along Rt.102, with what I believe to be Western Mountain in the background.  This side of the island doesn't see a lot of tourists as there isn't much to see except rural life.  Here you'll get a glimpse of folks gettin' by.  It isn't luxurious at all.  In fact there are lots of winding hard packed dirt roads that have old run down houses on them that are a far cry from the luxury that prevails only a mere 20 minutes away.
