The Ovens

There aren't a lot of hidden gems left in Acadia (IMO) but The Ovens is one such hidden gem.  I deem it this because it isn't easily accessible to the public.  It can also be completely water locked at high tide.  The Ovens is a unique geological structure.  Along a high wall of rock, several cut outs in its face (like the one above and bigger) can be seen, giving the impression of a string of oven doors.
