Tree Trunks

While driving through some back roads in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey, I noticed this formation of tree trunks.  It was a little after 4pm and the sun was still relatively high but not over powering.  I liked the way the light fell on the scene.  I snapped several shots at various apertures with and without the diffuser filter.  This image with the diffusion worked well for me.
